The HTC S740 comes with a normal keypad on the upper part exactly similar to the ordinary phones and the second QWERTY keypad comes out as a slider. Its dimensions are 116.3 x 43.4 x 16.3mm with weight nearer to 140grams. HTC S740 has been provided with a QVGA display with a screen size of 2.4 inches. The connectivity part of the phone is taken care by the Wi-Fi present. Other than this the phone has been provided with a USB 2.0 Port and a Bluetooth. There is an inbuilt memory of 256MB which can be expanded up to 4GB. Other than these there is a 3.5 mm headset audio jack, built in FM radio, calculator, calendar, GPS, AGPS and much more.

The HTC S740 runs on Qualcom MSM7225 528 Mhz processor which is well supported by the Windows mobile 6.1 operating system. The phone is compatible with WCDMA but also compatible with HSDPA.

This dual keypad smartphone is expected to be released in the middle of the October 2008 with a price tag of $550. It is also expected that there will be no carrier constraints for this particular model. So it is now in the hands of users to buy the model and write reviews about it.
